I am Katalin Knolmárné Kostyál, a full-time member of the Rogers Academy faculty and one of the founders of the Person-Centered World Foundation, which acts as the sponsor for this student group. With regard to my qualifications, I am a primary school teacher specializing in visual and English studies, as well as a psychodrama assistant.
At the Rogers Academy, my primary focus with students is on unlocking and connecting their accumulated subject knowledge and skills, both academic and beyond. To achieve this, I work closely with my colleagues, fostering strong professional and human relationships. I lead sessions related to visual literacy, art history, and English language revival programs. I also organize learning days in unique learning situations and serve as a guide in individual coaching processes. Additionally, I am involved in group skill development.
I am the personal mentor for half of the student group, guiding them from enrollment to graduation. This encompasses planning their life stages, processing experiences, and summarizing their journey with us.
I believe that through personal attention, we can provide students with a foundation that will allow them to improve their moral and self-determination for their future and the quality of life in their environment, from formulating academic and social goals to reflecting on their experiences.
